Training Opportunities for Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs)

We recognize that BHP’s are our of front-line staff, spending 6 hours a day with our students. Our program provides training and ongoing supervision for staff members in this position. Such training includes:

  • Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI)-28 hours initial training, and Annual Recertification-12 hours

  • School Based-65 BHP Certification-28 hours

  • Autism Spectrum Training

  • Whole school and team trainings related to topics such as: trauma, attachment, executive functioning, brain based interventions, Collaborative Proactive Solutions (CPS), mindfulness, milieu management, therapeutic use of self, self-care and team building

  • Tuition reimbursement for university courses, conferences, and seminars 

 

BHPs are encouraged to pursue additional training opportunities of interest to them.
