Out-Reach Support Services
What is the Out-Reach Support Program?
The Out-Reach Support Program assists schools in programming for children with complicated and difficult behavior within their home district.
It is the belief of the Out-Reach Support Program that children, families, and schools benefit from the process of developing in-district resources to serve their most complicated students.
Through the Out-Reach Support Program, consultants work with public schools to assess and address both the student's and school's needs.
What Types of Support Does the Out-Reach Program Provide?
Support for school personnel (administrators, teachers, ed. techs, social workers) in understanding and managing the needs of students with complex behavioral presentations.
Assessment of classroom-wide needs and implementation of positive behavior management systems for students with extensive behavior issues.
Support in planning and development of public school based and funded day treatment programs.
Who provides Out-Reach services?
All Out-Reach services provided by the MSE/MHC are supervised by our Clinical Director and/or Out-Reach Coordinator. Direct services may be provided by a wide range of professionals. To optimize services and cost effectiveness, staffing will be tailored to meet the needs of individual schools.
