THE COLLABORATIVE SCHOOL​

Training Opportunities for Social Workers

​

In addition to weekly supervision with seasoned clinicians, social workers receive training in a variety of evidenced-based therapeutic modalities aligned with our Trauma/Attachment based approach to care. Such training includes:

• Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

• Theraplay

• Mindfulness

• Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS)

• Autism Spectrum

• Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI)

• Targeted consultation from local and national experts in the field of child mental health

• Whole school and team trainings related to topics such as:   trauma, attachment, executive functioning, brain based interventions, Collaborative Problem Solving, mindfulness, milieu management, therapeutic use of self, self-care and team building

• Tuition reimbursement for university courses, conferences, and seminars 

 

Social workers are encouraged to pursue additional training opportunities of interest to them.
