Lauri Marchewka, LCSW
Executive Director & CO-Founder

Lauri Marchewka is a licensed clinical social worker. She did her undergraduate work at the University of Maine, Orono, where she received her BA in Psychology. After earning her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston University in 1988, she worked with adjudicated youth in Massachusetts for four years.

 

She returned to Maine and worked for a mental health agency for one year before starting a day treatment program in a public school where she was program director for eight years. In 2000, she was a co-founder of the Maine Special Education/Mental Health Collaborative and she continues to be the executive for the organization. 
 
She lives in Scarborough with her family.  She enjoys the beach, long walks with friends and family, vacationing in warm climates, and warm fires during the winter.  She has one adult son.
