Allegra Hirsh-Wright, LCSW
Allegra Hirsh-Wright is a licensed clinical social worker who works at Maine Behavioral Healthcare as the Training Manager for the Department of Clinical Innovation. Allegra is a nationally certified TF-CBT Clinician and Clinical Supervisor, has specific expertise in the areas of compassion fatigue, self -care and resilience, and, as a contributing member of the Secondary Traumatic Stress Workgroup for the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, has contributed to fact sheets and a national website on secondary traumatic stress.
Allegra has also co-authored an article on childhood exposure to violence, has contributed to a published book on childhood traumatic grief, and is an adjunct professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Southern Maine. Most importantly, Allegra is the proud mother of a 20-year-old son and her favorite color is orange - in fact, she wears it every day!
